ADMISSIONS

Thank you for your interest in ES American School. Our school welcomes all students who wish to succeed academically, develop socially and who decide to continue further studies within the American system.

Students may join our school in either the fall or spring semesters; although, full-year applicants will have priority in the admission process. Twelfth grade students, in order to fulfill our graduation requirements, must attend the full academic year at our school.

The language of instruction and administration in our school is English, and English is the common language within our community of learners. Once admitted, all new students for whom English is not their native language will take our English Placement Test during the first week of attendance. Those students whose test results indicate a lack of English proficiency will be required to take additional language support classes suitable to their abilities.

Students desiring to be admitted must complete the Application for Admission, which can be downloaded through the following link: APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS. Students must also provide official certified school records (transcripts) of the last three academic years prior to entering our school. Transcripts must be uploaded in PDF format 2MG maximum. When applicable, an official certified translation into English of the school records must also be uploaded. There is a one-time non-refundable application fee for all new applicants. Early application is strongly encouraged, especially if the applicant also requires a student visa. The visa process can take one to two months.

Once the Application for Admission is completed, applicants may email or fax the application to the Admissions Office. No admission decision will be made until all of the application requirements are submitted.
