UNIVERSITY PLACEMENT
ES American School constantly seeks to provide our students with academic and career opportunities beyond the years that they study with us. Nowhere is this more evident than the emphasis and guidance we place on the university placement process. As a college preparatory school, the future success of our students is of paramount importance, yet we also know that this success does not happen instantly. Therefore, preparing our students for the demands of university-level studies requires us to develop a rigorous academic environment, make their studies real-world relevant, and support and guide students in their chosen academic and career paths.
Since most of our student population is comprised of student-athletes who may wish to pursue their athletic skills at the university level, we are registered with and carefully abide by the academic core-curriculum requirements of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). All students wishing to play with a collegiate team in the United States must meet the academic and amateur guidelines as prescribed by the NCAA, NJCAA, and/or NAIA. Students are encouraged to plan early and should talk with the Head of School, High School Principal, or Guidance Counselor for additional information about university and career counseling.
In addition to a rigorous curriculum, our school offers comprehensive SAT Preparation Courses for our enrolled students and also serves as an official SAT Test Center. Many factors, such as major area of study, high school grades, SAT and TOEFL results, scholarships, personal finances, and athletic ability can determine where a student may attend university.
As educators, we believe in nurturing students in an environment where future academic and career success is promoted and celebrated. The motto “Their success is our reward” best embodies this belief in creating opportunities for our students today, tomorrow, and throughout their future careers.

As a result of our student’s outstanding academic and athletic achievements, they have attended many fine colleges and universities in the United States and Europe.
